Program Options
Currently, Adventure Island Christian Preschool accepts children who are 2.5 and 3 years old thru age six. All programs include snacks provided and lunch-time (parents provide the lunch). All of our classes maintain a 1 teacher to 12 children ratio (except our Little Tots program). We also utilized Teacher Aides to assist in the classrooms.
We offer the following programs:
Little Tots Potty-Training Program for 2.5 and 3 year olds
This program is specifically designed for our littlest learners. We provide age-appropriate activity centers to compliment our monthly curriculum. As your child shows readiness in bathroom independence we provide a potty-training program. While child is still being diapered, we will provide the diaper wipes. This classroom maintains a 1 to 8 ratio.
Beginners Program for 3 and 4 year olds
This program is designed for children who will enter Kindergarten the next school year. Our beginner’s enrichment curriculum provides learning through play, discovery and exploration.
Pre-Kindergarten Program for 4 and 5 year olds
This program is specifically designed to prepare children for Kindergarten the next school year. Our teachers provide an enrichment-focused curriculum with all the core components to ready a child for Kindergarten.
Kindergarten Program for 5 and 6 year olds
We have a well-balanced Biblical and Academic program for the Kindergarten child. We provide a Christ-centered education along with adhering to the State-Board adapted Content Standards for Kindergarten with the California Department of Education. We use a Saxon Math and Language Arts program that coincides with the Murrieta School District.
